CAPRICORN season (2023)

DECEMBER 21, 2023 - JANUARY 20, 2024

As we close out 2023, it’s time to harness our Capricorn ambition as we reflect on the past year & plan for the next.

Capricorn’s are known for their dedication to perfection & growth, which is the type of energy we need as we enter into a new year.

Capricorn’s are not so well known for their ability to rest, relax & recharge. You may be feeling that push & pull as we all try to relax & enjoy our time off work during the holidays, but to get to the enjoyment part we need to finish all our work, buy all the presents, cook all the food, clean the house etc. There’s a lot of pressure on us to do it all, and we may feel like we’re failing if we can’t manage it all with a smile on our face.

This is your permission slip to slow down & recognize where you need help, and then ask for it! Or, be ruthless and take it off your to-do list if it’s not important. We tend to put more pressure on things than needed, especially this time of year when everything should be “perfect” (spoiler - perfect doesn’t exist!)

It’s ok to spend some time alone if you need it. You can take the time to unwind in solitude. This will help you realize what’s important and what can be put on the bottom of the to-do list.

And don’t forget, Mercury is in retrograde until the 31st, which may cause some chaos around your beautiful to-do list. These unwanted incidents or disruptions are just another invitation to pause and recognize what is (or isn’t) serving you.

Capricorn is ruled by Saturn, and represented by the Mountain Goat. This reminds us that no matter what happens, we keep moving towards our soul purpose. Mountain Goats are able to keep going up, up & up no matter the obstacle that stands in their way. Capricorn reminds us to persevere.

Saturn is focused on helping us find our soul’s purpose & move towards it. Use this season to find your purpose & find joy in the journey.
