SCORPIO season (2023)

It’s time to start winding down & getting spooky with Scorpio season!
Scorpio season houses Halloween in the US, which I think spooks people who aren’t familiar with the intense energy of Scorpio. Though Scorpio season isn’t really as scary as people think.
Scorpio season is about self-reflection - which can be terrifying if you’ve never spent meaningful time doing it!
As this Scorpio season overlaps with Eclipse season, the energy may feel even more intense than past years. A lot of identity questions may come up - who are you? What is your purpose? Why are you here? Why are we (collectively) here at all?
That is the realm where a Scorpio lives & is unafraid to exist. With all the horrific news coming from around the world, it is natural & normal to be feeling existential about your future, your family’s future, the world’s future etc.
Scorpio energy is here to teach us to accept the scary things in life, and use them to transform our lives. What can we learn from these awful moments?
Though I am not a believer in “everything happens for a reason” I do believe there is something to be learned from every experience. Scorpio reminds us that there are ups & downs in life, it’s cyclical. And no matter where you are in the cycle, you will go up and you will come down.
I encourage you to spend some time with yourself this Scorpio season. If your gut just clenched up, you’re the person I’m talking to! It is easy to push away our thoughts & feelings when we’re with other people. I’m a double air+fire - I get it!
But using the watery, transformative energy of Scorpio we can spend time with ourselves, get honest about what we want & need, and then make decisions on how to move forward.
You may notice that these themes line up nicely with the Eclipse season themes - how do we find our own happiness in this world?
The answer to that is different for all of us, and lies within each of us. We can only find that answer by listening to our gut, spending time with ourselves, learning to love ourselves, and beginning to trust our own judgement over others.
